On Monday 16th March the government announced that unnecessary social contact should be avoided, and that theatres (along with other public spaces) should be avoided. The safety of our customers, volunteers and staff is paramount, and in light of this announcement it is with a heavy heart that we have closed the Fisher Theatre with immediate effect, until we receive further instruction that it is safe to reopen.
All shows in March and April have been cancelled or postponed and customers who have already booked tickets will be contacted.
The situation regarding shows in May will be monitored and updates posted on our Website and Facebook pages.
Thank you for your support of the Fisher Theatre and your understanding at this difficult time.
Mix sci-fi with fantastic music, then slip it all into a lurid B-movie polyester outfit and you have one of the most popular musicals around. The hero of this story, Seymour Krelborn, really has no idea what he’s got himself into when he brings Audrey II to the florist’s shop. The foul-mouthed R&B singing Audrey II turns out to be a carnivore, requiring Krelborn to feed it blood, adding to Krelborn’s already troubled efforts to rid Audrey of her unsavoury dentist boyfriend. Some of the best music around in a musical, great comedy and the zaniness you’d only find in a B-Movie.
