Fisher Theatre Cinema - Gloria Bell (15)

Auditorium 115 Plan, Monday 10 Feb 2020, 19:45  - ends at 21:25

A free-spirited divorcée spends her nights on the dance floor, joyfully letting loose at clubs around Los Angeles. She soon finds herself thrust into an unexpected new romance, filled with the joys of budding love and the complications of dating. As the term coming of age is reserved for youth, you might call this a “coming to terms” film of sorts – a portrait of a woman who owns her bad decisions (John Turturro’s needy skittish divorcée) and moves on to claim the happiness that is her right. An outstanding performance by Julianne Moore.

2018, 1hr 42mins, starring Julianne Moore, John Turturro and Caren Pistorius, Director Sebastián Lelio, Writers Alice Johnson Boher screenplay and Sebastián Lelio, Story by Gonzalo Maza
