On Monday 16th March the government announced that unnecessary social contact should be avoided, and that theatres (along with other public spaces) should be avoided. The safety of our customers, volunteers and staff is paramount, and in light of this announcement it is with a heavy heart that we have closed the Fisher Theatre with immediate effect, until we receive further instruction that it is safe to reopen.
All shows in March and April have been cancelled or postponed and customers who have already booked tickets will be contacted.
The situation regarding shows in May will be monitored and updates posted on our Website and Facebook pages.
Thank you for your support of the Fisher Theatre and your understanding at this difficult time.
In the show 'The Story of Doo-Wop', which played to a packed house here in 2019, vocal group the TestostaTones explored the birth of the ‘50s genre Doo-Wop.
In 2020, they return with 'Shake, Rattle and Roll', celebrating the music that followed - early Rock ‘n’ Roll and Jump Jive and featuring the very best songs by classic artists such as Bill Haley and the Comets, Elvis Presley, Louis Prima and Eddie Cochran among many others.
