On Monday 16th March the government announced that unnecessary social contact should be avoided, and that theatres (along with other public spaces) should be avoided. The safety of our customers, volunteers and staff is paramount, and in light of this announcement it is with a heavy heart that we have closed the Fisher Theatre with immediate effect, until we receive further instruction that it is safe to reopen.
All shows in March and April have been cancelled or postponed and customers who have already booked tickets will be contacted.
The situation regarding shows in May will be monitored and updates posted on our Website and Facebook pages.
Thank you for your support of the Fisher Theatre and your understanding at this difficult time.
Directed by Benjamin Naishtat. Starring: Dario Grandinetti, Andrea Frigerio and Alfredo Castro, 109 minutes. Argentina 2019. In Spanish with English subtitles.
A darkly comic Argentinian thriller which centres on Claudio, a prosperous lawyer, living an untroubled, small-town life just before the 1976 military coup. One night he is verbally abused by a mysterious stranger in his local restaurant. Months later, a friend comes to see Claudio about a house he is interested in buying. These two separate incidents form the basis of this slow-burn suspense drama in which nothing is as it seems.
ROJO WILL BE FOLLOWED BY THE BUNGAY FILM CLUB ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING.
